CT’s Local Music Showcase: Charmist

Charmist again

This week, I have the debut song from a brand new Peoria indie rock group, Charmist. The three members for the band; Jeff Gregory, Nate Lucas, and Andrew Sledd, have all been very active in all sides of the local music scene for nearly 20 years each. Jeff as a member of many bands, including Dollface, Encounter at L5, The Bugs, and other groups, as well as recording and producing albums for other local and regional artists. Andrew, one of the best drummers in town, has performed in Larks Tongue, Two Girls, and Men of Fortune, among others. Nate as a Show promotor, Record Label operator, merchandise maker, Graphic Artist for posters and other visual arts, and as a member of Evil Eye Honeytree and Reduced to Instinct, among other bands. The band dropped their debut song Monday morning and will have a full album/Cassette available in March. Here is Memory of Origin.
