I began my life naked in Illinois and still enjoy spending the day that way.
Over the years, I’ve been a regular voice on FM radio with a few regular gigs, but really, I’ve wound my way through a Midwest tour of sorts.
From WHSD in Hinsdale, WZND and WBNQ in Bloomington/Normal (Go Illinois State RED BIRDS!) Through WXRT in Chicago, 95.9 The River, Star 96.7 and some stations that no longer exist.
After working alongside (and playing a significant amount of Rock Band with) Marc Alghini up in Chicago, I landed here at CT in the early part of 2014 and it’s a dream come true. I’d like to stay for as long as they’ll have me.
Occasionally the things I say are funny — but mostly not. It’s about the music.
I enjoy staying on top of the newest releases, but always keep a warm place in my heart for the forgotten gems of the 80s and 90s. I’m at the front of the line for new albums, but I love the greats and guilty pleasures alike. You can hear me virtually every weekend during the afternoon shift on Saturdays and Sundays. Your requests and comments are welcome 24/7, so connect with CT on Facebook & Twitter and drop me a line.
When I’m not attending concerts and events, you can expect to find me along a bike path, or just taking it easy with my wonderful wife Nicole (she’s a babe) and puppy Holly (she’s a bitch).
So, I know you didn’t ask for advice, but I would suggest that you live your life to the fullest every day and be nice to the people you meet. It’s that simple!
I hate the cold winter weather, but love looking forward to the warm summer stuff. One day I will retire on a beach with Nicole, a boombox and some snorkel gear.
