Jeff Tweedy – Virginia Theater

Jeff Tweedy is an American musician, songwriter, and record producer best known as the lead singer and guitarist of the influential alternative rock band Wilco.

Tweedy began his music career in the late 1980s with the band Uncle Tupelo, which he co-founded. After Uncle Tupelo disbanded in 1994, Tweedy formed Wilco, which has since released numerous critically acclaimed albums, blending elements of rock, country, and experimental music.

Tweedy is celebrated for his introspective lyrics, distinctive voice, and innovative approach to music, solidifying his place as a significant figure in contemporary American music.
