Louie Louie is just around the corner!

Since 1988, Central Illinois has been kicking off the summer with the St. Jude Louie Louie Parade and River Jam in downtown Peoria with the sole purpose of raising money for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Participation in the Louie Louie parade is open to all businesses, organizations and individuals. Participation can be as floats, cars, motorcycles, bikes, scooters, walking groups, marching units, roller skates or walkers. Cost to participate is $10 per person or $100 per group. Net proceeds from both the parade and RiverJam benefit St. Jude and the St. Jude Runners. Entries must be submitted by Friday, May 19th, 2017.

The bands playing include 3 1/2 Men playing from 5:30 – 7 pm, Jammsammich playing from 7:30 – 9 pm and Dexter O’Neal and Funk Yard playing from 9:30 – 11 pm.
